Day 5/ Hoover Dam

Today started off with me baking! I know don't fall over in shock! But since I have my mom's obsession with cooking and baking items I knew she would have everything I needed plus the room to cook in. I had seen a recipe I was interested in on a friends blog, Sour Cream Coffee Cake. I didn't have the right kind of pan so mine was upside down but it was still YUMMY, thanks Carol!





We then headed to the Fiesta Casino for UP! It was a great time. We thought we were going to be late but got an awesome parking spot right by the elevator and the theater was right by the elevator. After spending a little to much money but kind of worth it, we got to our seats. The kids were expecting popcorn but after paying to get in we decided that we would forgo the snack. The movie was cute but I did get a little teary eyed near the beginning. I'm not sure why they would start a movie with infertility issues but I know it was necessary for the story line I kind of like warnings to subjects like that.


So after the movie we packed and got ready for our weekend trip to the Grand Canyon. This was from the car on the way to Williams, Arizona. These pictures may be a little blurry because my Dad can not drive. Really it was an experience being in the back seat while he drove. It has been a very long time since that has happened and I really don't want to relive that experience for a long long time.

We are in Arizona!!! First time the kids have ever been in Arizona.

So we stopped half way for dinner at Cracker Barrel. Then the hotel for the night. It was a fun trip. My mom and I texted eachother in the car about Dad's driving.
