Wow

I really have more to say about the last week or so but I have to share this with anyone who cares.

I really could not believe this when I first heard it. I really love this song and what he did to it was amazing! I have not been voting yet this season because I just didn't feel like it was that great of a season, no matter what happens to this kid after American Idol I hope he makes it!

Which Austin Heroine Are You?

I am Anne Elliot!

Take the Quiz here!

You are Anne Elliot of Persuasion! Let's face it; you're easily persuaded, particularly when friends and relatives try to use "the Elliot way" against you. But this doesn't mean that you don't have conviction. Actually, your sense of duty is overwhelming. And though you won't stick your neck out too often, you have learned to speak up when it counts. To boot, you know how to handle sticky situations. You love deeply and constantly.

Three Word Wednesday

Punch- I would really love to Punch the person or persons who think that dumping a can of baked beans on cars is a good idea. What do people do in there spare time. I don't understand why anyone would go out in weather of 5 degress, snowing, windy and just plain freezing cold to dump a can of baked beans on a van. This is the third time in the 7 years that we have lived here that this has happened. Really what do people think about.
T-shirt- For valentines day my husband thought it would be a good idea to give me a t-shirt from my favorite restraunt, El Zarappe. Now, the thing is he bought two, Xl t-shirts, green and orange. Ok I do not ware XL and I really should not ware shirts from resturants.
Unravel- really what to say about unraveling. Happening as we speak! Have you ever met Will. He totally did that today!

Babysitting

I had the chance to babysit this past week for a friend of mine. Isn't her baby just sooo cute. He's big one. I only had him over for about an hour or two. The kids just loved having him around.

Madi and Will want more sibblings. It is so funny to hear them talk about it all the time. A few weeks ago Will had a friend over and they were fighting over how to correctly play a video game (really I don't know how this boy can stand Will sometimes, but it just seems to roll off his back). I went in to turn down the volume so I can help Madi in the other room with her homework. I came back to ask Madi if she was sure she wanted more brothers and sisters. She told me yes. Then I asked again, what if all I had was four more boys and they were all like Will. She just quickly said she would protect the baby and be taped in her room. I started to laugh and then she realized what she had said and started laughing as well. She ment to say she would lock herself in her room. I then told her she was probably right that she would be taped up in her romm if there were 5 boys running around the house! Any how, no news on any new babys anyway, so for now she is safe!

Tiffany - Kipani

My name in Hawaiian. I was searching for some reciepes for a Luau that we are having Friday night. And I came across this kind of fun thing. It will show you your Hawaiian name. Cool yuh!

Madison - Makikonu

Michael - Mikale

August - Aukake or Will - Wile

And since I was checking these things out I thought I would get a photo. When I was in Hawaii more than 25 years ago (I was either 8 or 9) I remembered this spot most of all.

Lovey Dovey (Thanks Jenn)

LOVEY DOVEY

What is your husband’s name?
Michael Lee Richter Or My Mike

How long have you been together?
Married for 10.5 years engaged for 5 months

How long did you date?
18 Months

Who eats more?
Most likely Me, although I don't like to think about that.

Who said I love you first?
Him, but it caused great problems that I did not say it first.

Who is taller?
Mike by a couple of inches, although I don't see it.

Who has more speeding tickets?
I think we may be tied on that one. But I should add I have been driving a lot longer than he has, so I would have to say I win, not sure what I would win but, I Win.

Who is smarter?
If your talking intelectually, then Mike, hands down. Socially, common sense, street smats, Me.

Who is more sensitive?
I am not sure on that one. More than likely me. But it really depends on the situation.

Who does the laundry?
I wash, I fold, everyone else puts their own away. Unless I am out of town then Mike will do his own if he needs too.

Who does the dishes?
Me, me, Me, and Me.

Who sleeps on the right?
Right now he does. But it changes every couple of years. Depending on what side the bassenet is on. (no there will be no changes in the near future.)

Who pays the bills?
Me.

Who mows the lawn?
He does. I did it once for the first time in my life last year. It was not bad but I will not do it if it is over 90 or over 75% humity.

Who cooks dinner?
Me, me, Me and again, Me.

Who drives when you are together?
He does unless he is really tired.

Who is more stubborn?
Him. Not going there.

Who kissed whom first?
Wow, it took him 6 months. I have to say that I tried to get him to, but he finally did while we were in the pool at the apartment I was living in at the time. I couldn't get him to stop after that.

Who asked who out first?
Well, the story is, I emailed him on valentines day (wednesday) and asked him to Mock Marry me. The singles were going to have a Mock Wedding (I wanted to get married on leap year) We had the plan I just needed the groom. On Friday I said we should get to know eachother first so the next weekend we went out. We cancled the mock wedding, (I thought it would be to weird)

Who proposed?
The real proposal was Mike. One weekend we went to my grandmothers. They were gone so we had the house to ourselves. We were watching a movie on tv. He left the room for what seemed to be forever. He then jumps infront of me gets down on one need and pops open the box.

Who has more siblings?
We don't have siblings! My poor children don't have aunts and uncles or cousins.

I’m tagging anyone who wants to answer these questions.

Asleep

Ok I sent the kids to bed at resonable hour. Will kept creeping downstairs with the all famous excuse "I can't sleep" rutine. So I yelled a few times I said he was going to lose all video and computer and tv for life, still the boy kept comeing downstairs. After a while I did not hear from him, so I'm sitting here at my favorite spot on the couch checking email watching a little tv and then I hear this heaving breathing. What can this be! I get up to find my boy asleep at the bottom of the stairs. I just had to get a shot of this one. When I told hima about it the next day he said he was just faking. I asure you that he was not. It took me at least 5 minutes to get him awake, to get him to crawl up the stair so I could lift him into bed.

The Back Seat

This photo is of Mike and the kids on the way home from San Diego. We drove from Vegas to the San Diego Zoo. The next days we went to Sea World, then Legoland, then the beach. We drove home from the Beach! Wow, was I fried! Not as bad as I usually get but ouch, the sand the sun. Not a really fun drive home. But It was a great 4 days that I will not forget. Madison got her hair tied at Legoland. She had it in her hair for a few weeks but then really wanted it out.
Will had a blast. I don't think I ever saw him happier. He loved everything but Legoland and the beach were his favorite. I wish I had pictures at the beach. I left my camara in the car. Oh well, guess we have to go back!

So how do I start this?

I have started a few blogs before but always fail to keep them up. The last one I started in September and then added nothing else so I will repost that one later on this my new blog! And I will keep up to date. My other thought is that I am not as witty as my talented friends. I hope to gain some of their knowledge and great wit and grab a few ideas for myself. Hope to hear from my witty friends!
