First she smashed the strawberries.
While Will stole some to eat!
She pored in the sugar.
4 cups of sugar to 2 cups strawberries.
She stirred it all together.
I boiled the pectin. (safety first!)
Madi dried the plastic containers.
After stirring the pectin in for 3 minutes she pored it into the plastic containers.
Cover them and let them sit for 24 hours! Then we will Freeze them. After a few days we will be giving them to a neighbor with a missionary message. We have a person all picked out and are just waiting for the Jam to set!
Well, will wanted to do a batch too. So since I bought way to many strawberries to said sure why not! He had a blast!

You and Madi and Will will have to come to my house when you get back and make cooked jam! I'll even bake some bread. Warm bread, warm jam, and good friends together again--it doesn't get any better than that! Or maybe we'll just fire up the chocolate fountain!
