Happy Birthday Will!!!!!
August William Lee Richter was born 6 years ago today! I went in at around 8 am to be induced. I was relaxed most of the morning. Things were progressing really well, so before they broke my water they decided to give me my epidural. I did not have one with Madi so I was looking forward to it. Well around 12 they got the needle in, push the meds and it went up instead of down. I felt light headed and a little woozy for a while. They broke my water, then as the contractions started to get stronger I felt like I could not breathe. That was a little scary. They waited until about 3:15 to come in and get another needle, this time with a new anesthesiologist. I had been going through all the pain for the last 3 hours with out it, I should have just said no but I went ahead and did it anyway. This time it worked but only for like the last 10 min. I pushed and he was here. At 3:47pm 8 lbs 4 oz. 20 in. He was great. Didn't complain as much as Madi did. Very calm baby. I got cleaned up and then they took him to get cleaned up. They wanted me to get up and move rooms but since I was still numb from the epidural I just couldn't move, Mike had to help me. We got to the new room and had to wait until 11pm to see Will again. They were having trouble getting his body temperature up. They had to keep him in a warmer for a few hours and pump him full of antibiotics. (Which led to months of Thrush) I also got yelled at by the nurse for not peeing but I had to remind her that I was still numb and I have a very large blatter. Any how when I did go she yelled at me again for not getting her to have her watch me. Then she threatened a catheter until I told her again that every thing was fine and there was no need to torture me anymore! After that things were good. Two relaxing days in the hospital. Mike had fun with Madi and things were going well with nursing. Until Will was classified at failure to thrive at 2 weeks old and they asked that I use formula. Turns out that my type of infertility also causes problems with Milk production. Wish I knew that with Madi, could have saved me 4 months of turmoil and depression. But oh well now we know. So happy birthday Will. Hope this year is full of growth, learning, fun and staying away from our neighbors flowers!
What Princess are you?
You Are Jasmine!
Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate.

May Days
I really wanted to do this a while ago but time just seemed to slip by. So I will post it now. I hope to be better in the future!
May started off great. With some fun from our neighbors
They do this every year and every year we look foward to it. Just like I look foward to my Lilly of the Valley to bloom. They did not do so good this year.
At least my Izalias were pretty for a while!!!
Madi made me breakfast!
Mike took Will "Camping" in the attic of the garage.
I made cupcake wedding shower cake.
We had lots and lots of Soccer!
Will's Game
Madi's Game
Madi had her dance recital! She really liked the outfit this year. We took a bunch of pictures out side before hand.
Her and the other girls getting ready!
We had family dinners again. That was fun. Maria had to go to work so she needed to leave. So she really wanted dessert and took a piece for the road!
Mothers day was good. Mike got to spend time with his mom. I will do another post on my mothers day.
I went with Will and his class on a field trip to Otsego Park about 15 min out of town. It was fun and short. The day was nice and we got to see a lot of bugs and birds.
Mike went with Madi on her class field trip to the Zoo.
And Will told me he really loves me!

What live music concerts have you attended?
Confessions of a Pioneer Women is haviing a Zune give away today. So I posted a commentand thought I would add it to my blog. I have been thinking about all the fun times I had at the concerts. My first concert was The Monkeys Reunion Tour. I watched MTV all the time and they were doing reruns. I still love the Monkeys! I went to U2's Joshua Tree, Ice House with Men Without Hats (pop goes the world, still one of my favorite songs),and New Edition. I do want to mention my High School had a great group called The Roadshow. They did a lot of Jazz and remakes of 50's tunes. Those were a favorite for a long time, I still love those songs and wish I could fix my tapes to hear them again. Oh I forgot that I went to a New Kids on the Block. Yes I can admit it, I went and I loved it! I do have to confess that I went to a NKOTB concert at a smaller venue when they were on there way out. I went to Metalica concert and a Guns N Roses concert that we were worried that Axel might not show up, but he did and it was fun. some of my favorite concerts have been in bars or community concerts. There is a band that was out of Cleveland called The Janglers, totally awesome but never made it big. Oh, Grateful Dead concert rocked! I didn't really know all the songs but loved the experience. Oh on my comments I forgot about the Jimmy Buffet concert, I don't know how I could have forgotten that experience!!!!

Fun on the last day of school
This was just a little bit of the party at the Lip sync at school today. The kids had so much fun. It was long though and really hot in the gym. But it was worth some of the shots I got. Sorry that I moved the camara the way I did but it just makes it that much funnier! Ok I had to cut the movie down to download it!
